Frequently Asked Questions —
ThinkPad X13 Yoga Kenya

Common questions from Kenyan buyers about the ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 1.

• What is the price of ThinkPad X13 Yoga in Kenya?▼
The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 1 with Core i5-10310U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 13.3" FHD touchscreen, and ThinkPad Pen Pro stylus is available at Ksh 34,500 at Tech Convenience Store, Nairobi CBD. WhatsApp 0714 722 264 to confirm current stock. We deliver countrywide across all 47 counties in Kenya.
• Does the ThinkPad X13 Yoga come with a stylus pen?▼
Yes — the ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 1 at Tech Convenience Store includes the ThinkPad Pen Pro in the box. The pen has 4,096 pressure levels and tilt detection — making handwriting, PDF annotation, and sketching on the 13.3" touchscreen feel natural. Crucially, the ThinkPad Pen Pro stores inside the laptop chassis — it slides into a slot on the side, where it charges automatically. You never leave it behind or carry a separate pen case. This is a significant advantage over the HP Active Pen or Dell Active Pen, which must be purchased separately and carried loose.
• What can I do with the four convertible modes?▼
The X13 Yoga's 360° hinge enables four modes: Laptop mode — standard notebook with full ThinkPad keyboard. Tablet mode — folded flat, keyboard auto-disables, use with ThinkPad Pen Pro for annotation and sketching. Tent mode — inverted V shape for media viewing, reading, and presentations on a desk — no need to hold the device. Stand mode — screen folded back, facing an audience across a table — for showing work to clients or students. The touchscreen is active in all four modes. The ThinkPad Pen Pro works in all modes, including tablet mode on the lap.
• ThinkPad X13 Yoga vs ThinkPad T490s i5 — which should I choose?▼
Choose the ThinkPad X13 Yoga (Ksh 34,500) if: you need a touchscreen and stylus pen for annotation, sketching, or handwriting notes; want 360° convertibility for presentations and tablet mode; or need a 10th Gen processor. Choose the ThinkPad T490s i5 (Ksh 29,500) if: you don't need touch or pen input, need more RAM (16GB vs 8GB) for heavy multitasking, or want to save Ksh 5,000. Both have the same ThinkPad keyboard quality. If pen input and touch flexibility are important to your workflow, the X13 Yoga is worth the Ksh 5,000 difference — the stylus pen alone would cost Ksh 3,000–5,000 purchased separately.
• Does the ThinkPad X13 Yoga support Windows 11?▼
Yes — the ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 1 with Core i5-10310U supports Windows 11. All units at Tech Convenience Store come with genuine, activated Windows 11 — verifiable in Settings → Activation before purchase. Windows 11 security updates continue until 2031. Windows 11's touch and pen features (Windows Ink workspace, OneNote, and snipping tools) work natively with the ThinkPad Pen Pro.
